Choose practical, account-free guidance for the part of creative collaboration you are working through now: agreeing a process, planning a story, sharing a world, developing characters, crossing creative disciplines or improving a draft together. Choose a collaboration process Start collaborating with a clear process for writing a story with somebody else, or assess compatibility once you already have a potential writing partner. These guides focus on expectations, decisions and day-to-day creative work rather than promising that a particular collaborator or outcome can be found. Plan the shared story Plan the story with a flexible shared brief, build a coherent fictional world and keep recurring characters recognisable across contributors. Each guide offers practical records, questions and decision methods that can be used with ordinary documents or conversation; an INK account is not required.
